Philosophy

What I know:

  • First, do no harm.
  • Life is short – eat cake.
  • Live life to the fullest.
  • Life is full of surprises; as soon as we think we have it figured out we get a curved ball.
  • My life today is richer then if it had turned out the way I thought I wanted it to turn out 20 years ago.
  • Freedom is the ability to choose how we will respond to life.
  • It’s important to grieve our losses and work through the pain until we are at peace we how life is for us at any one time.

It's Important to:

  • Create a gratitude list.
  • Be silly and to laugh hard.
  • Wonder what could be.
  • Get the essentials done then play.
  • Have time-out.
  • Create places of solitude.
  • Make time for and be with family and friends.
  • Say I sorry.
  • Know we don’t know.
  • Give back.
  • Continue to learn.
